After a few weeks on Blogspirit, the Blogbar's Blog has found a new, more permanent home on the web.

Santa just came down with a nice little present for the Blogbar users :)

Eric (Tech Guru of Blogbar) just added AskJeeves as a new search engine you can use directly from within the Blogbar. Isn't it cool ?

For the current users of Blogbar, there's nothing to do : Blogbar has already been updated, so you can use AskJeeves right now !

For the new users of Blogbar : if you haven't yet installed Blogbar, you can do so on the Blogbar website. It's a 12 seconds-copy-and-paste thing: you copy the code on our website, you paste it on your blog, and that's it, you're set :)

Hindi, Chinese : Blogbar V3 new evolution

Blogbar is now available in Chinese and Hindi. Our friends from China and India can now specify their own languages. Once selected, their queries are processed to the finest Chinese and Indian search engines !

We're proud to announce the release of Blogbar V3, with a major feature : we've just added the option to search in your own personal blog and/or site directly from the Blogbar.

It just requires you to update the code you use with the Blogbar. It'll take about 12 seconds to configure !

If you're not a Blogbar user yet or wish to update, just get to http://www.blogbar.org and grab the code !!

And once installed, you can drop the Google Toolbar, the Technorati toolbar and so on : we've packed everything into a small 5cm² square, and you can even match the Blogbar colour to the colour of your blog / site.

Ain't it cool ?

Nous travaillons à intégrer sur la Blogbar la possibilité d'implémenter une fonctionnalité de Site Search, qui pemettra de faire une recherche directe sur son propre site... bientôt, finie la barre de recherche de Yahoo! ou de Google :)...

We're currently working on our next Evo : Site Search. It'll allow you to search on your blog/website directly from the Blogbar. It's currently 80% done, we're doing some extensive testing at the moment. Stay tuned !

We've just updated the Blogbar !

You can now choose the language of the 3 main engines, so that results are displayed in your own language !!!

Blogbar V2 is available in

English
French
Italian
Japanese
German...
and Spanish !

To download the new code, just go to http://www.blogbar.org, choose your design colour, choose your language, and generate your code ! That's as simple as that !
